Casual and hardcore sports enthusiast, especially baseball lovers, get prepared, MLB Bobblehead Pros offer you one hell of a fun, silly baseball bashing time. Most current generation sports games offer huge amounts of depth to not its graphics, but also the game play. Sadly enough, game developers forget the real thing behind the purpose of games, to offer maximum entertainment through simple and easy game play. MLB Bobblehead Pros might be silly at first, but it packs an extremely fun game which will easily remind gamers of the old school arcade style games. You are going to have a lot of fun without a doubt, if you can get away with some of the little bugs in the game.
MLB Bobblehead Pros can easily be compared with Konami’s renowned MLB Power Pros, which is a cartoonish game. Bobblehead Pros offer you extremely polished graphics that feels current generation, though the game still does not manage to address some silly issues found in MLB Power Pros too. The characters are designed to match their life like faces, but to make things a bit fun, developer has made each character legless, with a huge wobbly head on the top. The fun part really begins when a play shoots the ball and then attempts to run, as the characters run around and perform their actions, their huge wobbly heads wiggle and jiggle, making it really fun to watch. Though the game might be funny looking, it does not ignore the game play, and offers a solid experience.
The game offers an easy to jump into game play for anyone looking to have a little bit of fun. You select your throw and then wind off your swing, when done you can aim anywhere at the strike zone and let the ball fly. Once the ball leaves your hand, you can still manage to control some parts of its movement. When batting, you can aim the ball with a ghost image of the bat provided, when you are right in line with the ball, you can strike the button and hit the ball.
MLB strikes an excellent balance in both game play and the feel of the game; we highly recommend this game to anyone who wants to have some fun with their friends and family during the summers.
