The creator of Harry Potter, J.K. Rowling has set in motion a new website termed as “Pottermore” but the rooters of the boy wizard will have to be patient in order to see what the page holds because as of now, it comes with a single, two words message, “Coming Soon”. The site goes by the name of pottermore.com. It has been set in motion one month prior to the release date of the 8th sequel, which also happens to be the last. The movie will be released on the 15th of July.
Some of the fan sites of Harry Potter have been able to generate a huge and dedicated fan base for the movies and sequels of the movie, along with the book of the HP, which is a seven-book series. These fan sites of Harry Potter have also been given a sneak peek into the website that as of now has an obscure nature. Leaky Cauldron, who is from one of the leading websites of Harry Potter, said that to be put simply, the website is breathtaking. Leaky said that they are only allowed to say this at the moment and she won’t comment further.
Warner Bros., the studio of Rowling and Potter has never stayed back from creating hype and momentum prior to the release of their movies. In fact, they have always followed a traditional of generating mass hype of their forthcoming release, prior to the release itself. The novels of the very famous Harry Potter have been able to sell copies in excess of 400 million all across the globe. Whilst, on the same hand, the seven sequels of the Harry Potter movie has been able to gross 6.4 billion dollars via sale of tickets. JK Rowling has been termed as the first billionaire author in the world. Coming back to the website, the fans only have a teaser at their disposal right now. The representative of Rowling was not present to answer to the queries regarding the website at once.
