Chelsea Clinton is Still Married despite Wicked Rumors to the Contrary

It seems that the misogyny against Hilary Clinton has been extended to her daughter.  Although Chelsea Clinton is not a political figure in the sense that she has not run for office, the so called Conservative pundits are not immune to attacking her. In fact it seems that their version of feminism started and ended with Sarah Palin. Remotely independent women who do not believe in state interference within their personal lives are to be harassed in the hope that they never run for office. You only have to read some of the comments about Michele Obama in these right-leaning forums in order to understand the discomfort some people have with women in general. You should be “hot” in order to be worthy of consideration and any Liberal comment is followed by personal attacks on your appearance. In any case it seems that Chelsea is still very much together with Marc Mezvinsky despite the assertions that their marriage was a sham waiting to fail.

The pair enjoys “Much ado about nothing”

Perhaps there was some sardonic irony in the title of the play which they attended as part of the “Shakespeare in the Park” event. A marriage that is less than an anniversary old has been reported to be riddled with problems. The damaging rumors of career challenges and mental breakdowns appeared to be nothing more than malicious gossip. Looking at the images of the happy couple at the Delacorte Theatre, you soon realize the wickedness of the rumors that are being spread around. The thirty one year old daughter of former President Bill Clinton was dressed casually and seemed relaxed despite the media who were obviously taking images for their next story. She must be used to this sort of attention. Her parents were the first couple for eight years and now her mother is the Secretary of State representing the most powerful nation on earth.

It was reported that Simone Ayesa the Australian fitness expert created a workout regime in order to spice up the couple’s love life. This level of intrusion is shocking when you consider the fact that both of them are still private citizens. The news that Marc had quit his investment banker role to go snowboarding without his wife was greeted with glee from the right as an indicator that the marriage was indeed on the rocks. Apparently the husband was struggling with his career and suffering from “flakiness”. Reports indicate that the workouts have provided the couple with “inner peace and focus”. The routines that were offered include yoga, cardio and Pilates. Tantric sex has been mentioned but surely the press does not have confirmation of such intimate programs! In any case the couple would probably be happy to be left alone in peace. If the rightwing press is going to complain about intrusion into the Palin family then they should also cut some slack for Chelsea Clinton and her husband. Aside from the couple, Naomi Watts and Live Schrieber also attended the event.
