According to TorrentFreak.com, the most popular instant messaging service in the world, censors links to FilesTube.. Only a few days ago, the FilesTube file sharing service noticed that their links are no longer supported by Yahoo Messenger.

The sender and receiver are not announced that a FilesTube link has been blocked. In the senders window the link appears as being sent, however it does not reach the destination. The filtering takes place on the Yahoo servers, so users cannot bypass it.

According to the same source, the Yahoo representatives were contacted however they provided no explication. Also recently, Google has decided to also block a few warez related keywords.

Regardless of the reason, what is sure is the fact that Yahoo monitors the talks and link censorship is going to be used more and more in their efforts to protect the entertainment industry interests.
