Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is a new game announced by Capcom, and the game is going to be released for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Operation Raccoon City is a third person shooter, and the story of the game is going to be inspired by the events from Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3.

In 1998, Umbrella Corporation sends a team to Raccoon City to cover all the evidence of the pandemic that has gotten out of control. Also, the US Government sends their own team to discover the cause of the pandemic and to better understand the Umbrella Corporation actions. Players are going to be part of the Umbrella Security Services, having to fight against the forces that make their way to Raccoon City.

Basically, players will take part at the events from Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 from the perspective of the other combatant forces.

The multiplayer version of the game is going to have multiple gaming modes, and until now US Special Ops and Umbrella Security Service being revealed as playable factions.
