Not only Ferrari has problems these days with overheating. Toshiba also recalls the Satellite T130 notebooks. To be more precise, more than 41.000 notebooks are affected, Pro T130, T135 and T133D, sold in North America starting with August 2009.
The problem was located at the electrical transformer that simply melts the surrounding plastic when it is hot. Toshiba put together a new bios ( 2.70 for Pro T130 and T135 and 1.90 for T135D ) which would allow the monitoring of the situation and automatic shutdown of the power supply during overheating.
The affected models have codes that start with  PST3AU, PST3BU and PST3LU.
