The Canadians from Research in Motion ( RIM ) have released on Monday the Blackberry Playbook, a PC tablet that is trying to get it’s market share on a market that continues to develop itself extraordinary, and a market dominated by the popular iPad from Apple.
Blackberry Playbook comes with a 7 inch screen, high definition camera, Wi-Fi Connectivity, BLueTooth and IT support.
In order to connect to the mobile network, the tablet requires a Blackberry smartphone.
RIM is hoping to send the first copies to business clients in October, and the idea is to have the gadget ready for the masses in 2011. The Canadians are going to miss the shipping season in the winter, and this might cause them to miss out on a good opportunity to establish themselves on the tablet market.
Research in Motion ( RIM ) hasn’t released the price of the Blackberry Playbook yet.
