Although it is named Infinite USB Memory, which may make us think about a flash drive, the last Infinitec device is actually a double wireless board with USB interface. And then why USB Memory? Because a software makes it a virtual flash drive, on which we can store every file from our hard drives.
And what’s the purpose, you may wonder. Well the purpose is to make these files accessible in the local wireless network. And to not cut the internet access of the PC that connects to Infinite USB Memory, through Wi-Fi, the second wireless connection is used for this purpose. And the data from the Internet and then send through the help of the first connection, between PC and the Infinitec device.
And because we can use the Infinite USB memory to store, virtually, the entire HDD, regardless of it’s capacity, we can definitely say that this device has unlimited storage space. Infinite USB Memory will be available at a $130 price, and it will be available starting August 31, 2010.
