Milo is back after a 1 year break.

Microsoft has made a demonstration with Milo, a virtual boy, with the help of the Kinect technology at the TeD 2010 Conference.

Milo is controlled through an Xbox 360, with a controller named Kinect. The technology was thought and promulgated by Peter Molyneux, one of the most known games designers in the world.

” I want to present a revolution in the way we tell stories” Molyneux said at TeD Gobal Conference ( Technology, Entertainment and Design ) in Oxford. ” Movies, TV and even books are not interesting because they do not imply me. It’s very boring ” he said.

Peter Molyneux said that he wanted to create a character that looks alive, to look him in the eyes and give him the impression that he is actually alive.

Milo was presented at E3 2009, but since then no news appeared about him. ” Many said that it’s not real” the designer also said, but he now proved live on stage how it works.

The character is actually part of a larger game, and Molyneux said that 45 minutes will be required so that Milo can recognize you exactly. Unfortunately, according to bbc.co.uk the technology is still under development and Microsoft doesn’t have a release date yet.
