GigaByte Technology, one of the main motherboards, video cards and other hardware solutions for computer manufacturers has released two free overclocking applications for Gigabyte motherboards. HotKey OC allows real time overclocking with the help of a predefine key on a standard keyboard, that allows you to create different overclocking settings to be used during different stages of a benchmark. Gigabyte Cloud OC allows overclocking or to monitor the state of the system, as well as real time settings from any device that is equipped with an Internet browser and wireless or bluetooth connectivity.
HotKey OC is part of the new EasyTune 6 utility, a free overclocking application for Windows that is delivered with every Gigabyte motherboard, and allows users to create and save different profiles that can be used for benchmarks.
Hotkey OC allows users to use these profiles in real time, this way they can use the best profile for each segment from a benchmark to optimize the scores and increase the performance. For example, when 3DMark 06 is runned, Profile 1 can be optimized for graphics and can be used in the first two graphical tests, then the next two tests can use Profile 2 which can be optimized for processor tests and then the user can use the Profile 1 again for the last two graphics tests ( shader ).
Also, users can exchange profiles through email, Skype, MSN, etc, so that overclocking teams do not have to be in the same place during benchmarks. Any EasyTune 6 profile can be imported for one of the 4 predefined keys. HotKey OC can be used with any motherboard capable of running EasyTune 6.

Cloud OC is a free overclocking application that allows you to overclock your PC with the help of any device capable to connect to the Internet, like a smartphone, iPad, iPHone, Netbook or notebook. Being based on navigation, it can connect to the internet using wireless, bluetooth or cable connectivity and it’s features are spread into 3 areas: Tuner, System Info and Control. The Tuner area offers a wide range of tuning options that include frequencies for CPU, Memory, VGA and PCI-E. The System Info area allows you to monitor the system in real time for CPU temperature, Fan Speed,CPU VCore and system temperature. The Control feature allows you to control the system’s power settings and you have restart, power off, suspend and hibernate options.
Cloud OC can be used on any Gigabyte motherboards wtih X58, P55 and H55 chipset.
